1. Terms of Use
Welcome to Tapin Wallet ("Tapin," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or using the Tapin Wallet website located at tapinwallet.com (the "Site") or any related services, applications, tools, or features (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Tapin Wallet. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease use of the Site and Services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Services, whether registered or unregistered. Certain features or services may be subject to additional terms, guidelines, or policies, which will be posted in connection with such features or services. All such additional terms are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms.
Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page periodically so you are aware of any changes.
2. User Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use our Services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Accurate Information: If you create an account or provide any information to Tapin Wallet, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, private keys, seed phrases, and any other authentication mechanisms. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Self-Custody Model: Tapin Wallet operates on a self-custody model. This means you alone control your private keys and assets. We do not have access to your private keys, passwords, seed phrases, or wallet contents. If you lose access to your authentication credentials, we cannot recover your assets.
Jurisdictional Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules in your jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions may restrict or prohibit access to digital wallet services.
3. Digital Wallet & Asset Disclaimer
Tapin Wallet provides a platform for managing digital assets, tokenized credentials, verifiable data, and identity-related information. The following disclaimers apply:
- Not Financial Advice: Nothing on this Site constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult with a qualified professional before making any decisions regarding digital assets.
- Volatility & Risk: Digital assets are subject to high market volatility, regulatory changes, technological failures, and other risks. The value of any digital asset can go to zero. You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with holding, transferring, or managing digital assets.
- No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the value, liquidity, transferability, or security of any digital asset managed through the Services. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
- Irreversible Transactions: Blockchain-based transactions may be irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed, it generally cannot be undone. You are solely responsible for verifying transaction details before confirming.
- Network Risks: Blockchain networks are decentralized and may experience congestion, forks, attacks, or other disruptions that are beyond our control.
Regulatory Status: Tapin Wallet is not a bank, financial institution, money transmitter, broker-dealer, or securities exchange. We do not hold your funds in custody. The Services are provided as a software tool for self-custody asset management.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, graphics, user interface designs, source code, software, and intellectual property displayed on or available through the Site (collectively, "Tapin IP") are owned by Tapin Wallet or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not include the right to:
- Modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, or create derivative works from any Tapin IP
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software used in the Services
- Use any data mining, robots, scraping, or similar data gathering methods
- Use the Tapin name, logo, or trademarks without express written permission
- Frame or mirror any portion of the Site without prior written consent
Any unauthorized use of Tapin IP automatically terminates the license granted herein and may violate applicable laws.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to, and will not assist, encourage, or enable others to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other financial crimes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other user accounts, or computer systems or networks
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or the networks connected to the Services
- Transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or other items of a malicious or destructive nature
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services without our prior written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Site
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functioning of the Services
- Use the Services to harm minors in any way
6. Privacy Policy
Tapin Wallet is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information obtained through the Site and Services.
6.1 Information We Collect
Information You Provide Voluntarily:
- Email address (if you sign up for early access, newsletters, or notifications)
- Name or alias (if you create a profile or contact us)
- Feedback, support requests, or other communications you send us
Information Collected Automatically:
- Device information (browser type, operating system, device model)
- IP address (anonymized where possible)
- Usage data (pages visited, time spent, click patterns, referral sources)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Cookie Policy below)
Information We Do NOT Collect:
- Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords
- Transaction details or wallet balances
- Social Security numbers or government-issued identification
- Financial account information (bank accounts, credit cards)
6.2 How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Site and Services
- To communicate with you about updates, features, and product announcements you have opted into
- To analyze usage trends and optimize user experience
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
6.3 How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the Site (e.g., hosting, analytics), subject to confidentiality obligations
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation
- Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Tapin Wallet, our users, or others
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of the transaction
6.4 Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
6.5 Your Rights — GDPR (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

6.6 Your Rights — CCPA (California Users)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grant you the following rights:
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Note: We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights

6.7 International Users
If you access the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our servers or service providers are located. By using the Services, you consent to such transfer and processing. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect the information we collect and store, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- OWASP-aligned security headers on all responses
- Rate limiting on all public endpoints to prevent abuse
- Input validation and sanitization to prevent injection attacks
- Regular security reviews and updates
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You use the Services at your own risk.
9. Third-Party Services & Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by Tapin Wallet. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, practices, or availability of any third-party sites or services.
The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by Tapin Wallet. You access third-party content entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those third parties.
We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of every third-party website or service that you interact with.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TAPIN WALLET, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings
- Loss of or damage to digital assets, tokens, or credentials
- Loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account or wallet
- Loss resulting from errors, mistakes, inaccuracies, or omissions in content
- Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the Services
- Any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses, or similar issues transmitted through the Services
- Interruption or cessation of the Services
WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT TAPIN WALLET HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN ANY CASE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO TAPIN WALLET IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($100.00 USD).
11. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TAPIN WALLET DOES NOT WARRANT THAT (A) THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE; (C) ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED; OR (D) THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH CASES, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tapin Wallet, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of or access to the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; (d) any claim that your use of the Services caused damage to a third party; or (e) any content you submit or transmit through the Services. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Services.
13. Accessibility Statement
Tapin Wallet is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

14. Notice & Cure Policy
Before filing any claim, legal action, or regulatory complaint against Tapin Wallet, you agree to provide written notice describing the nature of the dispute, the specific relief sought, and any supporting facts. Notice must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line "Legal Notice."
Tapin Wallet shall have thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of such notice to investigate and attempt to cure or resolve the issue before any legal action may proceed. During this cure period, both parties agree to negotiate in good faith.
If the dispute is not resolved within the cure period, either party may proceed with the dispute resolution process described below.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Binding Arbitration
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body under its applicable rules. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The place of arbitration shall be in the United States. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
15.2 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST TAPIN WALLET. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void.
15.3 Jury Trial Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND TAPIN WALLET EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN CONNECTION WITH ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES.
15.4 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for claims relating to intellectual property infringement, unauthorized access, or threats to user safety.
16. Severability & Survival
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
The following sections shall survive any termination or expiration of these Terms: Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Warranty Disclaimer, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, Governing Law, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.
17. Force Majeure
Tapin Wallet shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, labor disputes, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, equipment failures, or governmental actions or regulations.
18. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Revised" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a notification on the Site or via email).
Your continued use of the Site and Services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles. To the extent that any action is not subject to arbitration as described above, you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within the United States for the resolution of any disputes.
